Dromquinna Stables

We are a family run equestrian centre, est. 1949 and located in a beautiful traditional Irish yard in the stunning surrounding countryside of Kenmare, just 5kms outside the town on the Sneem road (N70). We offer rides to the sea and mountains.

We bring the enjoyment of horses and ponies to everyone, beginners and experienced riders alike. Our beautiful rides take you along the shores of the very scenic Kenmare Bay and through woodland into the mountains with breath taking views of the Beara and Iveragh peninsulas. On a clear day, views of over 90kms out as far as the Bull Rock are possible. We have rides from a duration of one hour upwards.

We also offer farm rides for the whole family to the sea (suitable for small children and anyone who may be nervous). Or come and enjoy a lesson with one of our qualified staff in our all-weather arenas.

Horse and pony training and livery facilities also on offer and we can enhance any special day with a beautiful horse and carriage.
