KMEG – Kenmare Marketing and Events Group

KMEG is a dynamic group of representatives from all sectors of Kenmare’s business and local communities groups. The aim of KMEG is to market Kenmare and the surrounding area promoting all businesses services, festivals and events. We need your support With your help we will actively and successfully support the development of new projects and the existing Festival and Events which are of huge benefit to businesses, local communities, our families and visitors alike. What are the benefits of KMEG membership? Your yearly membership fee includes:

• Membership of the Kenmare Chamber of Commerce who work in conjunction with KMEG
• Your contribution to Kenmare’s Christmas Lights
• Your support of the main Festivals & Events ; see list below
• Each member will have their own business page on the new Kenmare.ie website – you will receive your own personal login & password so you can update all your information, images, special offers & news items for your business. It can also link to your own website or Facebook page
• Kenmare.ie website will be the main business directory for all business in Kenmare and the greater area
• You will be part of an excellent communication stream regarding KMEG’s activities for the community and businesses.
• You will be supporting vital marketing and assistance though the provision of funds for the town which includes the employment of a marketing manager who coordinates and promotes all projects implemented by KMEG
• You will be supporting all the hard working volunteers who give up their time to make the festivals & events a success for the town.

Without your support we would not have elongated the season to the benefit of the Kenmare businesses and community. We would not have made visitors aware of the excellent range of accommodation, eateries and wonderful shopping available here in Kenmare. We would not have been among the top ten tourist towns in Ireland. We would not have been able to grow the various festivals or put up more cost effective Christmas lights. A lot of work done. A lot more to do. Without members subscriptions to KMEG, none of these achievements would have been possible.
