On countless occasions this old-world store has been compared to an Aladdin’s Cave. You will find something pulling at the heartstrings in every corner. 

Packed to the brim with colourful woollen blankets, throws, scarves and shawls, in hot pinks, oranges, purples, lime greens and lovely earthy mixes.

Shouting from the shelves is the finest of Irish knitwear for both men and women. Fabulous alpacas and silk, merinos and cashmeres. Good quality Irish is what Cleo is about, mixed with some ranges from abroad such as possum from New Zealand. 

There are local crafts, ceramics, handmade soaps, candles and some unusual soft toys, mixed with silver jewellery.

Tucked away in another corner you will find our incredible vintage clothing section with classic designer labels from days past. Brunell (a designer worn by Grace Kelly), or Donald Davis, known for fine wool classics adorn the rails as do party dresses and fur trimmed coats.

If you stop to look at the gents’ scarves or caps, don’t be surprised to see a price tag hanging from that chest of drawers or the table holding those hand painted lampshades. You’ve guessed it, the beautiful antique furniture is for sale too.

The walls are graced with colourful art, many depicting scenes found locally and painted by some quality local artists or those who just stopped for a while. 

You may just come for a browse or to have a friendly chat, you may never want to leave, but you are sure to enjoy the Cleo experience.
